Free Time Management Apps For Homeschool Moms

There are so many great educational homeschooling apps but what about time management apps for homeschool moms? Which online tools can help you keep up with homeschooling while working?

When it comes to time management for busy moms, it’s important to make the best use of technology.

The nice thing about apps is that you don’t need to know much about technology to use them. Most are easy to use and pretty straightforward.

That said, I do find the app stores a little overwhelming. There are so many choices available.

While I prefer a paper planner, time management apps are a great way to organize your day, help you stay focused, and get things done.

In this blog post, I will share three ways to reduce overwhelm when choosing time management apps for homeschool moms and a list of apps you can check out.

Choosing The Right Time Management Apps For Homeschooling

Visiting an online app store and seeing all the possibilities can be overwhelming.

The last thing you want to do is load up your phone with too many choices, causing more stress instead of helping you manage your time.

Here are three ways to reduce the overwhelm when searching for time management apps for homeschooling:

1. Define your needs:

Before you start looking for apps, take some time to think about what you really need to manage your homeschool schedule.

  • What are the most important tasks and activities that you need to manage?
  • What are your biggest time wasters or distractions?
  • What problem are you trying to solve?

By clarifying your needs, you can narrow down your search and avoid getting overwhelmed by too many options.

2. Check reviews:

Look for reviews and recommendations from other homeschool moms who have used time management apps.

The list of time management apps for homeschool moms includes not only some of my all-time favorite apps but also apps that other working moms have recommended to me.

While they didn’t fit my needs, I’m including them so you can see if they fit your needs.

You can check online reviews, social media groups, and homeschooling forums to find out what apps other moms have found helpful.

This can save you time and help you find apps that have been tried and tested by other homeschoolers.

3. Take a gradual approach:

Don’t try to download and test every app you come across.

Instead, try out a few apps that seem like they might meet your needs, and use them for a week or two to see if they are helpful.

Make sure they aren’t adding to your plate. While some apps will have a learning curve, they shouldn’t take hours and hours to set up and use.

If an app isn’t working for you, don’t be afraid to delete it and try something else.

By testing a few apps at a time, you can avoid getting overwhelmed and focus on finding apps that really work for you.

9 Free Time Management Apps For Homeschool Moms

Now that you know what to look for in an app, let’s get to the list of time management apps for homeschool moms.

Please note that all of these apps were free at the time of writing. Some do have the option to upgrade to a paid version that offers more features, integrations, etc.

One way I like to test apps is to take advantage of the free trial of paid options. For example, Homeschool Planet is a paid homeschool planning website that offers a 30-day free trial.
