Kids. Career. Homeschool.

When I first started homeschooling, I had no idea what I was doing, but that was okay. I had the time as a stay at home mom to figure it out.

I scrolled Pinterest for ideas, and eventually, we found our groove. Things were finally coming together. I started to feel confident.

And then life changed, as it always does. That change was returning to work, and all of a sudden, my time was very limited.

How in the world was I going to teach my kids when I wasn’t even home?? Where would I find the time?

Being a homeschool mom is tough. It’s okay, you don’t have to pretend it’s not.

When you add in balancing a career and demands from a boss and clients, you go from “tough” to what felt impossible.

I must have heard, “You can’t do this” a hundred times that first year.

And when people put words to your worst fears, well, you start to believe them.

Was I going to be a crappy Mom?

Was my kid going to get the proper education?

Was I going to lose my job due to poor performance?

These were all thoughts that weren’t racing through my head.

They sat there. I’m pretty sure a couple of them built a house in my mind.

But what choice did I have? I had to make this work and although it didn’t happen overnight, I was able to make it work.

I don’t want you to believe that you can’t pursue a career and be an awesome homeschooling Mom. You can.

That’s what this site is all about. Helping you navigate the chaos that is your life.

You Can Do It Mama

I know the story of an Internet stranger might not be the push that ignites the belief that you can be a great Mom, pursue a career, AND homeschool all at the same time, but you can.

I dive even deeper into how you can pull off this crazy life that you want.
