In this article, I’ll share some of our favorite spring activities for kids and show you how to incorporate this list into your busy life as a working homeschool mom.

How To Use These Spring Activities For Kids

Before we explore the extensive list of spring activities, let’s discuss how you can make the most of them. As a busy working mom who homeschools, effective planning and organization are crucial.

Here are a few strategies to ensure a successful and enjoyable spring season:

Plan homeschool activities:

As a working mom who is also homeschooling, you can use the list of spring activities for kids to plan your homeschool curriculum for the season.

You can incorporate outdoor activities such as nature walks, gardening, and bird watching to teach your kids about science and nature.

You can also plan arts and crafts projects that involve making spring-themed decorations or creating spring-themed artwork.

Schedule fun breaks:

Juggling work and homeschooling can be challenging. You can use the list of spring activities as a way to schedule fun breaks for your kids.

You can plan a family picnic or outdoor movie night, take their kids to a local farm for strawberry picking, or organize a spring-themed scavenger hunt.

Connect with other homeschooling families:

Homeschooling can be isolating for both you and your kids. One way to meet this challenge is to use this list of spring activities to connect with other homeschooling families.

Organize a spring-themed homeschool co-op where each family takes turns hosting a fun activity for the group, such as a nature hike or a flower arranging workshop.

Most of these spring activities for kids use easy-to-get items. You shouldn’t have to break the bank to have fun with your kids.

However, not every activity will appeal to your child. Some kids love being outside in the rain, while others would rather sit inside and do crafts. That’s okay!

I like to invite my kids to go through the list with me and pick a few new things to try!
